I don't know about that. I have a friend who's a newspaper columnist in this city. He's written many hundreds of columns, and received many hundreds of angry letters and emails in response. But he told me the most angry responses to a column he has received, by far, was when he suggested charging out of town commuters more for transit. Never underestimate the remarkable sense of entitlement people develop over the services they use.
