All the transactions I've done have always gone smooth, so who knows? Maybe I'm so used to doing it the one way, people just kind of go along with it. I thought it was objectively the right way to do things, but I guess there is more than one way to skin a cat.

Question for one of CP's lawyers:
Does them giving you a deposit, actually entitle you to keep the deposit if they renege on the sale though? I'm not sure it does unless you've both signed a contract stating so, but I ain't a lawyer.
