Rome is great. Truly one of the funniest guys on radio ever, and honestly, i dont think there is a better interview in sports. He is insightful, I'll give him that. I think the thing I have against the Jim Rome show is that it's way too heavy towards football, baseball, and basketball - all sports I'm not a huge fan of. When there are big sporting events like the Superbowl or NBA championship, I'm happy to listen because I'm usually excited for those big games. But on a day-to-day basis, I will not listen. Something about all that pausing in between his sentences really frustrates me, haha.
Btw, I don't think he's the worst. I think the guy on CBS at night on 960 is twice as bad. I don't remember his name, but he has a really weird voice. I'm sure people know who I'm talking about just by reading that simple description. He flat out sucks.
