Kitchen Cupboard Hinge Issues
I'd like to start by saying that I am in no way shape or form a handyman. I am the exact opposite so this question may be a no brainer to some. My kitchen cupboards are pretty nice on the outside but they're that particleboard junk on the inside. My hinge ripped out in both spots from the inside of the cupboard. I've refilled it several times with wood filler. Every time I go to drill The screw back in the wood filler just ctumbles and I'm back at square one with a little bigger mess than I had before. Moving the hinge up or down does not to be an option as it is imbedded directly into the door. Any suggestions on how to get this hinge back on? It's driving me nuts. Should I use epoxy instead of wood filler? Maybe use a wood screw instead of the blunter machine screw that was originally in there? Anyone know a good handiman that could fix this for me? Open to any suggestions before I drive my fist through the wall ( I almost did tonight).
