I'd like a few more than 7 games of viewing to see exactly what the team has. He's definitely a NHL level defenseman who can play in the top 6. But right now he looks a lot more third pairing, than 2nd pairing. He's still young by NHL defense standards, so there is time for him to grow. If he can be a big bodied #4 or 5 who can play a bit on the walls than he fills a void in the organization. Between Giordano, Brodie, Hamilton there is a good assortment of puck movers. Others like Kylington and Anderson look to be of that ilk. So there does look to be a shortage of bigger bodies like `Kevin' who can muck it up on the walls.
