So Frolik has 6 goals in 2 games and 8 in the other 55.
I'm hopeful that he'll be better settled in with a clear role next year and can maybe contribute a bit more offensively than he has this year, or at least be a more consistent point producer.
I'll admit that I'm not crazy about his contract, but I fully understand why it is as high and as long as it is. But he is at an age, where it's unlikely he'll score more in the future than he has in the past. If he can put up the point totals he's on pace for this year over a full season and be a bit more consistent in his scoring than that's an acceptable level of production.
You see the speed he showed two times tonight combined with the puck control and moves at the net, and it almost reminds me of Glencross where you wonder....why can't he do this more often? Although I fully qualify that I'm not comparing Frolik to Glencross, just some of that why can't you do this more often feeling. Frolik does appear to be more consistent in his effort, just not with his production.
