With Gauthier and McLeod's skating and skill set combined with size and McLeod playing such a premium position... depending on what teams need, I could see both going ahead of all of those guys except maybe Tkachuk. Seems like every year forwards get picked above defenders with similar potential because of the quicker impact and easier transition they seem to have.
It's actually looking like a really good draft in the top 10. I am really hoping for a top 3 pick but I think the Flames will do really well as long as they are in the top 6 or 7.

McLeod, Gauthier, and Bean are probably in the 4th group from 10-12 and then everyone else. There's not much of a separation in my opinion from anyone 1-5, then Tkachuk then again with 7-12. You could easily justify anyone from 7-12 in any order. All depends on what you're looking for.
