No one is saying it isn't a challenge. Making the playoffs is a challenge. Good teams miss every season. My point is that the Flames should be able to improve significantly with relatively minor personnel upgrades. If they get average or better goaltending and special teams next season and are still in the lottery mix then there will be extreme concern, with good reason IMO.
