His rhetoric is surely racist and hateful, but that doesn't mean that you can condone violence against him or his supporters. That's a terrifying proposition because it's a slippery slope.

I really hope that nothing like that comes close to happening. I don't think that there is a single thing that I could agree with in Trumps "platform", but (a) I wouldn't wish for someone to be assassinated and (b) I would think that would be a powder keg kind of event.
