A friend of mine had this to say:

Clearly, this woman had an extreme lapse in judgement. She should have had kept the loaded .45 in the glove box, that's just common sense really. It's easily accessible for her while her unbuckled child in the backseat wouldn't be able to reach it. Also, the cops couldn't take it away if it's in the glove box. It's like Jay Z said, "I know my rights and you gon' need a warrant for that."

My second question for this lady would be: "Why was this child grabbing for your gun instead of reaching for its own?" Why wasn't she providing the toddler with the means to protect itself? I guarantee you that this wouldn't have happened had the child not had to fumble around trying to reach her gun if he had is own. That's right, I said it, one more gun in this car would have prevented this.

If the baby had a gun, it could have shot the other gun before that gun shot its mother.
