If you pay any attention, it's getting out of hand, yes - this is an instance where someone thinks it's reasonable to demand that professionals to not do their job in health care in order to avoid hurting peoples' feelings. It's certainly the case with college professors. We've ventured fully into "goodfact vs. truefact" territory.
