I think they should go wall-to-wall on Saturdays, all on one channel. There should be a Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa or Eastern US city game on at 2pm Eastern (noon local). Then there should be a Winnipeg or other US Central, or Eastern time zone, or Western matinee game followed by your main event (5:00 local works for anytime zone really) followed by your nightcap from Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver or Pacific/Mountain time zone US city.

I think the NHL should try to capture the NFL Sunday thing on Saturdays.

Since it's all on one channel you can cut a lot of the crap and stick with your studio guys all day long.
