It's significant since it's a Viking tattoo (Nordic Wolf). I wanted to honor my Icelandic ancestry. I've also mainly enjoyed working outdoor jobs (land surveyor, tree planter, line locator- all "lone-wolf type jobs). If anyone can recommend where to get the work done (tattoo parlour), and approx how much $$ this would set me back (I assume there are tattoo artists in the house), it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I just had a 3/4 sleeve done. It was 17 hours in total spread out over 4 sessions. Cost is obviously going to depend on where you go but for a big piece like that you should definitely search for a very talented and skilled artist which means paying a higher hourly rate ( $175-220/hr is kinda standard for top notch work in the city). My artist was Damian Robertson and he is insanely talented but I don't think he is taking new clients right now. I would check out the crew at Electric Grizzly in Canmore. Damian used to share a shop with them and the folks who work there are amazing artists. They have an Instagram page with a lot of their work.
