Yeah I actually read that the other day and realized I misunderstood what 2StonedBirds said. I thought he was asking if there was (or a possibility for) medication for pedophilia.
My real response to what he actually said is that, yes, there is medication for those mental illnesses, and those were only discovered once we stopped calling those types of people witches and crazies and actually looked into what makes them tick.
