Bean himself tries to model his game after Cam Fowler, and I think that's a pretty good comparison. They are similar in their physicality, size, and puck-moving abilities.

But in terms of high-end comparisons, I'd say Bean is fairly similar to Keith. They are both puck movers and distributors. Bean does seem to rely more on closer wrist shots, while Keith takes slapshots from the point. In the NHL, I think Bean would have to tone down the tough/risky plays and learn to rely more on his teammates.

He's definitely an offensive player, but Jake Bean is actually pretty good all around. His smarts make him decent defensively, and he can be physical at times.

I do wonder how much playing with Sanheim has affected his play and progression.

He recently tied Postma's Hitmen record for goals (23, Postma achieved this at 20 years old).
