This is the first year the cap floor actually comes into effect (i.e. teams can't carry over cap space), so we're going to see a lot of contracts that seem stupid because teams have to overpay. I'm not sure where the Giants qualify on that list in terms of the floor, but giving Janoris Jenkins $12 million a season certainly qualifies as a stupid contract. CBs now get as overpaid as QBs it seems.
Like how does Derek Wolfe feel? I'm sure he's glad to be in Denver and he got paid well, but he probably could have earned more than twice as much on the open market seeing what Malik Jackson got. Lots of money this year with the cap going up too
