Sigh. OK, I know that Dill is an herb, that can be used in many things pickled or not. I was using "Dill" as a proxy for "pickled with dill (ala pickles or carrots).
Your notes about the ginger and kimchi etc.. help. But what in the bloody hell is a pickled egg? It seems to me there are infinite combinations of flavours that can be applied to something being pickled, so just saying "I hate/love pickled eggs" makes no sense.
