They're not a good team but none of these moves make them any worse, and they just freed up about $10M in cap space in the process.

Well everyone knew Maxwell was a bad signing before he signed with anyone last year. We all knew it was a Seattle system CB, and that someone would overpay because CBs are of high value. Murray has a bad contract no doubt, but the only time he didn't perform well in his career, besides injuries, was last year. Chip I think it's fair to say badly misused him. Alonso is still on his rookie deal and had a great rookie year. Maybe he was awful last year, but giving up on him that fast doesn't seem wise. Maybe a new coach does better. I'd have kept him at least, because he's cheap and would be a FA next year anyways so if he sucks, he's out.
And I say this because I'm seeing the exact things I saw when the Bucs transitioned over from Schiano to Lovie. Trading a lot of "overpaid, bad" players...except when it happened with the Bucs, they replaced those overpaid, bad players with even worse players through FA...and the players they dumped suddenly played significantly better elsewhere. You can't undervalue leaving a crappy organization/coaching structure. If the Eagles stay out of FA, I think they'll be ok. Given the contract Roseman gave to Bradford, I'd want them staying the hell out of FA. But if he goes in...I'd be deeply worried as an Eagles fans, given the Bradford contract.
