You nailed it! Neat looking fish, and from what I can see up here in Evanston, they are healthy. I found a school of probably 40 fish, and the biggest ones are 1.5 to 2 inches long. As soon as you approach the bank, they go down deep and disperse, so no captive fishies for me.

There are also suckers in Nose Creek... at one point I unintentionally caught one in my net... it was about 12-16 inches long... big surprise for a kid trying to find minnows.
