I was agreeing with his idea--yes it raises taxes, but it eliminates many of the excessive healthcare costs that Americans have to deal with. The US already pays an insane amount for healthcare per capita as it is, so it makes no sense for us to not ensure that everyone has access to healthcare. Beyond that, by introducing a medicare for all system, hopefully it would mean that we could start to negotiate down the cost of healthcare services and medications in this country.
