Matt Murray would be a Flame right now if the Penguins were willing to trade him. Treliving was apparently after Martin Jones in the off-season as well. In hindsight Treliving should have offered more for him.
I wouldn't be surprised if he overpays, either in a trade or in free agency in order to get a capable goalie. I would be shock if goaltending is still a mess going into next season.
