I thought so to, I remember waiting what seamed like forever for ROTJ to come out on VHS. Turns out I was right. It hit the theatres May 25 1983, but didn't hit VHS until February 1986! For $80, which must be like $3000 in today's dollars...

I wonder if Disney will do that weird thing with Star Wars where they lock a film in "the Disney Vault" for 20 years....probably not with today's technology, would just encourage piracy.
