			That sucks... But I'm kinda glad that they aren't fooling around and letting people off with warnings. I (used) to buy a fishing license every year in Alberta, and they don't tell you anything. They give you a book with all the guidelines and regulations for where you can and can't fish, and what you may keep.If you don't read it, tough. You'll get fined for breaking the rules.
 
 Some may argue that it's their job to educate you. I think that's a low IQ attitude. What I like about you having to teach yourself is that you don't need to attend some class or seek some kind of certification just to go fishing one day on a whim. Just buy the license and read the page pertaining to where you're going to be fishing.
