He meant "love" more in the sense that people tend to own their Toyota's for a long time and their Toyota's don't give them a lot of hassle or expense. If all you're looking for in a vehicle is something cheap that doesn't give you a lot of BS, then you'll love your Toyota, not in the same way one loves luxury or sports vehicles, but love nonetheless.

My matrix is crushing it in terms of economical engineering design, which is something I see a lot of beauty in, but most people don't really care about that sort of thing.
