Brett was interviewed on 630 CHED tonight. A quick recap, from memory so it is paraphrased:

Found out about the trade immediately after the Oil Kings Game this afternoon (The Oil Kings lost 6-1 to Victoria in an early game, 11:30 start)
Thought something was up when he noticed Gene Principe taking his picture on his cell phone during the intermission (Creepy...my word, not Brett's)
Brad Treliving called him to welcome him to the organization. Told him the Flames are excited to have him.
What's it like for a Sherwood Park boy who plays for the Edmonton Oil Kings to be traded to the Calgary Flames? It sounds and feels weird.
Brett models his game after Ryan Johannson, another guy who is tall and lanky and has a similar skill-set (but may be more skilled)

Brett has 68 points in 63 games so far this year, and had 88 points last season for the Oil Kings.
