We don't
know that. Kuemper and Dubnyk are very good goalies and deserved to play and were healthy.
Backstrom sucked last year, and he's old. But that doesn't mean he sucks this year. That's just conjecture.
For the sake of the tanking, I'm sure he won't hurt us too badly.
