Has been an extremely consistent producer all season despite playing most often in a 3rd line checking role for strong club. His tireless effort provided excellent secondary scoring. Plays a simple game and doesn't turn over the puck in risky areas. Shields puck extremely well and works the low cycle to perfection, constantly keeps legs churning to create pressure on the forecheck and force turnovers. Jumps on rebounds and show surprising patience in tight quarters around the slot. Already good at manufacturing greasy goals, and in second half he started to score more from clear looks and skilled plays."
