Regardless of everyone's thoughts on his current season, Russ was instrumental in our drive to the playoffs last year. When Gio went down, he and Wideman really stepped up and played some phenomenal hockey.
For a 5th round pick, Russell was an excellent Flame and will be dearly missed! Best of luck in Dallas!
