If there are offers out there for our players with 1year left on contract, and we retain salary, I'm guessing Tre prefers to deal with those at the draft when he has a clearer picture of next years payroll and free agency(unless it's Wideman). Wideman could be back a week after the deadline, motivated and healthy, able to contribute on a power play and a RH shot. At 2.75(about 700k of cap space at the deadline), I'm think someone may have the will and the way, as long as Wideman agrees. I could see Dallas in on him. If Ottawa hadn't got Phaneuf....

I will be stunned if Russell isn't traded(even if the return sucks).

I wouldn't be surprised if jones is moved.

If Hiller is moved (even at 50%) I would be surprised.
