Not sure the Flames would be as willing on the contract front with Janko, and we are much deeper at centre with Monny and Bennett that I could understand how Janko might be more motivated to explore options.
Sounds like it's not likely, but I'd had to have that first rounder disappear after all the effort we've but in.

In the unlikely event he didn't sign you could always shop his rights before August because they do have that sure value of the 2nd rounder if he re-enters. Say trade Janko for conditional picks, two 2nd rounders if he signs or they'd just give us the compensation pick or another 2nd rounder if he didn't.
Anyways, nothing to be worried about IMO. I'd expect an announcement signing him in April or so.
