Like I posted in another thread I have a theory that Russell has been banged up a lot of this year and that it has affected his play a bit. He's a warrior and a leader. Definitely would love him back but I think 3.5 million is what we'd need him to make and he should be able to easily best that on the open market this summer.

He's great in the room. He stepped up for sure last year, no doubt about it. All I'm saying is the numbers can't really lie, too many shots against when he's on the ice and to an extent where he sticks out on his team year after year.
