reposting my thoughts from the other thread since I'm hoping someone else can remember what i'm talking about in the first part of my post:

So I very very vaguely remember this, but there was a game quite a few years ago when loubo was on TV. His co-commentator said something about a players Jr career(I think?) and loubo basically just tried to correct him. Then the co commentator tried to defend himself and loubo went on a very pointed rant about how the other guy didn't know what he was talking about and how he really watches hockey or something and the other guy didn't say a single word for the rest of the broadcast. He got really personal

I like loubo in general but I have a few problems with him. Namely:

1) he is WAY too sensitive. He really gets set off by the most petty things
2) he acts like his opinion is fact and if you disagree with him, then you're just wrong and you don't watch enough hockey or some other condescending comments
3) he is frequently wrong and let's his personal like/dislike of an individual cloud his judgement. Hey loubo,I get it. You've watched little Kris Russel chase people around in his own end for 20 years. That means he's bad. Sorry. When both the 3rd and farm team callup pairing can seamlessly step into his role, I stop believing that his "heart and willingness to jump in front of pucks" is worth more than the ability to actually play hockey and defend
