I don't understand those people that say it takes too long. Probably 5 minutes from start to finish (including the "clean-up" of putting the bowl in the dishwasher). I guess I find it hard to believe that 5 minutes makes a difference in the morning.
As for health, I have a hard time believing a bowl of cereal is 500 calories. Even with milk, it would be like 300 at best. That probably better than the muffin alternative people have suggested, and it will take you a lot further in the day than a 100 calorie cereal bar.
