Best donairs I've had in the city is a little place called the Desert Cafe on 52 St SE and 17th Ave SE. Yea...I know...way over in Forest Lawn - so its kinda out of the way, but they've got great donairs. They have loads of meat and they grill the pitas....mmmmmmmm. My favorite is their Shaesh Tawouk - chicken with coleslaw and fried potatoes - its unbelievably good. |
Is this in the strip mall? Or across the street by Fountain Tire? Funny how I drive by this intersection everyday and have never seen it. LOL
When I'm in Edmonton, I always go to Queen's Donair. It helps that my in-laws live 5mins away from it.
