Twice out of the first round...playoffs in only a handful of seasons...drafting in the top 10..I don't know, I'm just done with the mediocrity. Constant lineups, trucks in the concourse, and stale game day presentations are part of my beef too.

The whole CalgaryNEXT fiasco didn't help either. I always thought I'd have to give up my tickets when they built a new arena, as I imagined I wouldn't be able to afford seats, but it doesn't look like that will even be a concern for the next 5 to 7 years.

Anyway, I'm curious to hear the reasons other STH aren't renewing.
I hear you, the Flames have been rebuilding for 20 years. Outside of a Cinderella run in 2004, a strong regular season in 05-06 and last season. There hasn't been much to cheer about as a Flames fan. I mean they have only made it to the 2nd round twice since 1989.

That being said, I'm going to renew. I can easily afford my seats in the first row of the PL. I only go to the games with my 8 year old son and I really do enjoy taking him. Also, with the new Ticket Exchange I have almost been able to pay for next years tickets with the sales of the games I can't attend (if they play as bad next year that could be tough going forward). If I had more expensive tickets, I probably would't renew. I love the Flames, but history shows that no matter how good things look on paper with this team, the results simply arn't there year after year.
