I think its funny that the Shawarma thread got locked, and now we're onto donairs
. Lots of Lebanese food junkies on this site apparently.
Best donairs I've had in the city is a little place called the Desert Cafe on 52 St SE and 17th Ave SE. Yea...I know...way over in Forest Lawn - so its kinda out of the way, but they've got great donairs. They have loads of meat and they grill the pitas....mmmmmmmm. My favorite is their Shaesh Tawouk - chicken with coleslaw and fried potatoes - its unbelievably good.
