The whole point he's making is that he wants and needs help, but there isn't any because everyone automatically treats him like a villain when he tries to talk about his problem. The only help there is is with people who share his problem, and that's hardly a great source for any sort of objectivity.
There's nothing to defend. He hasn't, if you believe him - and if he's out of the closet with THIS, what do you think he's lying about? - done anything wrong. No child porn, no cases of any wrong doings with children. He recognizes he has an issue and wants to get help, but because people like you react this way, he can't. You agree that he should seek help, so what exactly is your problem here?
What if this was a psychopath, who came forward and said "I have fantasies about murdering people. Please give me the help I need."? Would you react the same way? Don't accept that you want to harm people. Just have it dealt with. What does that even mean?
