Rather than starting a new thread, thought I might throw a question out to any audiophiles on the board:
I am looking to get a pair of headphones, wired OK, so long as the cord is coiled/not going to tangle. Want to avoid any that leak a lot of sound (so closed back), or are over-done/muddy in the bass. Main uses would be music listening, occasional use for gaming. Comfort is a big factor. Being able to fold for travel is also a good feature, but not a deal-breaker
I have been looking at headphones more often used for monitoring, as they have a more flat sound profile - thought about this since I HATE when the bass is over the top and "muddy" sounding. Figured I can always use EQ settings to tweak if need be
