That is not necessarily true. Maybe in the eyes of the Reds (assuming that is who was getting the prospect) this player has one particular skill that their scouts are looking for, it could still be some dart throw. I can't see the Jays giving up much of significance beyond Saunders. They are the ones taking on money and potential term for only a marginally better upside.
