I think it is pointless to speculate about Howard in any form. Why would the Flames want him on their team under any circumstances?

If this season wasn't enough of a lesson about middling, past-their-prime goaltending I don't know what was.

The fact that the Flames being in on Talbot and Jones last summer and inquiring about Murray this year indicates to me that they are not looking at Howard.

I hope I am right.
