Heat sign D Mike Vernace and Gabriel Verpaelst to professional tryout contracts. Both are in the lineup tonight.

Heat up 2-1 on SD. Goals from Agostino (Hamilton, Hathaway) and Morrison (Kulak).

Kent Simpson in net.

Agostino's opportunity is right around the corner. Hope he seizes it.

Edit - they lose 3-2.
