Are Scottsdale and Paradise Valley culinary destinations? I honestly have no idea, nor does it matter. Wasn't really talking about expensive stuff just not food court crap. peter12 might be right a nostalgia run could be interesting but one of those will do, not all.

Just find it strange how derisive you are when it comes to Canada and Calgary specifically, you seem to know very little about Cowtown, "Where are the hotels?" It's odd. You've made a big deal how magical and special Arizona is after following your parents there but the contempt towards Cagary boggles the mind. You can't help make passive aggressive jabs towards the city, you did it in the post I'm replying to, it's been fairly constant over what, a decade now?

Do the nostalgia run but explore the city you never did growing up and check out things off the beaten path. Don't go to Harvey's, head to Flip n' Burger. Avoid Swiss Chalet and try Minas Steakhoue in Eau Claire for an evening.

My two cents.
