Japanese village is still there. Same owner, although he has taken a step back and is only there part time. My opinion, the quality has gone down a bit. But lunch is still an unreal deal

Best Korean, I read Seoul being recommended. I agree, but also a place called Korean Village on 10th avenue which is really good. Seoul is great if you feel like meat sweats. Korean Village I find more authentic. Either or you're paying quite a bit

Best dim sum, there are a few. Central Grand at New Asia up by 16th ave and Center Street is standard and decent. If you're up in the north end, Golden Central on McKnight and Center is decent and decently priced. If you're in Harvest Hills area/ Beddington, a popular place is T Pot. It's kind of a fusion take on dim sum. I like it, but it is a bit more expensive and you have to get there by 1030 to get a seat.

If you want good Chinese food, there is a place in Panorama called Ginger Beef Bistro. Best Peking duck in the city in my opinion. Ho Won in Chinatown is a safe bet too for good hole in the wall Chinese food at a good price.

I can't think of anything else at the moment, but I'd like to think I still have a decent grasp of Asian food in Calgary even though I don't live here anymore, and just visit every couple months.
