The show's main issue is it's inconsistency from director to director. Some are done well and some not so much. Michael Bay movies obviously appeal to some people hence the box office success of the Transformer movies so I'm not surprised that a lot of people liked the last episode as it had rocket launchers, explosions, fire, zombie hacking carnage, nonsensical deaths to characters that a season was wasted on, main characters miraculously cheating death. I totally understand this appeals to a lot of people so I'm not going to call anyone out on it but I would prefer a slightly slower episode with some quality story over the blockbuster move excess feel of this one.

Agree on the directors, you never know what kind of show you're in for.
The scene at the end where the whole group went to town on the zombies was great, the quick flashes were straight out of a comic book, the whole episode stayed really true to the book, which was a nice change.
I would disagree on the nonsensical death comment, it wasn't quite done right, in the comic
(not a spoiler but some peeps are sensetive......)
I thought they could have made that scene more gut wrenching. Overall that was a great episode.
