The show's main issue is it's inconsistency from director to director. Some are done well and some not so much. Michael Bay movies obviously appeal to some people hence the box office success of the Transformer movies so I'm not surprised that a lot of people liked the last episode as it had rocket launchers, explosions, fire, zombie hacking carnage, nonsensical deaths to characters that a season was wasted on, main characters miraculously cheating death. I totally understand this appeals to a lot of people so I'm not going to call anyone out on it but I would prefer a slower episode with some quality story over the blockbuster move excess feel of this one.

Thats part of watching TV now. They get you invested in characters and then they kill them. Thats part of the deal. It isnt a waste, it wasnt like they fell down an elevator shaft accidentally or anything.
