Eh, I wouldn't have been shocked by Turkey or somewhere in Eastern Europe or even Africa, either. I've heard some crazy stories about local football in those places as well. Guys climbing the chain link fence that encloses the visitors' fan area with knives in their teeth, for example. Sports!
