Pittsburgh has a horrendous bottom six right now, and will need a veteran body to help with a playoff push. However, we are already woefully thin on the right side, and we could use an energy player in the Bouma type of mold. Here's what I'm predicting:
David Jones and a 5th for Bryan Rust and a 3rd.
They don't have a whole lot of cap space (thanks to that Scuderi transaction), but there isn't a whole lot left to pay Jones and he doesn't have any performance bonus to account for.
Assuming they could move someone else out, does this seem plausible?
