This is no slight against any of these players. They are good players, and good humans, but BB and BT have been saying one thing and doing another.
Re-signing Stajan - Great person! Great leader. Way too small and weak.
Re-signing Russell - Smallish player again.
Signing Bollig - Is not as fiesty as I thought he would be.
Signing Raymond - He gets beat up enough on this board.
Trading for Hamilton - Good!
Re-signing Brodie - Small, but his skill is elite.
Signing Engelland - Good signing.
Re-signing Jooris - Not big enough.
Signing Frolik - Good player, not big and physical.
Resigning Backlund - OK player, not physical at all.
The irony here is that one of the guys that does play a semi physical game (David Jones) is on his way out.
Please Brad, get David Backes. Please.

Backlund may not be a bruiser out there, but he constantly wins board battles and doesn't shy away from contact. I love the idea of Backlund as the 3rd line centre.
