Exactly.

I've had one where my vision was blurry for a couple of hours, one where my field of vision was restricted to about 40% (no peripheral vision), two where I was unconscious for about 10-20 seconds, and one where I "just wasn't quite right" for the rest of the day. Those are all I can quickly remember.

Didn't play anymore, but drove home from hockey after the first one. Came out for about 5 minutes but then went back in and went out drinking after the rugby game in the second one.
Sure probably shouldn't have done so in either case, but we didn't really think of it at the time. This doesn't negate the incident, nor the effect.

Point being, an individual can be acting coherently, but not necessarily functioning properly or making valid decisions, or even register that they are making decisions that shouldn't be made.

Luckily in none of those cases did my symptoms last to the next day, but I would suggest that had I seen a physician, I would have been diagnosed with a concussion, especially noting the vision symptoms and being unconscious twice. So, the fact Wideman is practising on February 4 does not have any effect upon the possibility of him being concussed on January 27.
