He might be better than Backlund at 22 (debatable), but that doesn't mean he'll continue projecting upwards. If he can't hack it at center (which it looks like he can't), he definitely won't be more valuable than Backlund when he's done developing IMO. Hoping for him to turn into a Hudler seems like an incredible long shot.
What is the most likely outcome? He's converted to wing and becomes a 50+ point top 6 forward, or he's converted to wing and becomes something less than that?
I think the odds are far greater that he's going to be a 20-30 point player than a 40-50 point guy.
